Ucce luxury fashion for women Launch party

We had the privilege to provide the florals at a launch party & runway show for a new luxury woman's line, Ucce. Held at the fabulous St. Regis Hotel, the show introduced her line to the world. Thanks to Julia McKelvey at the St. Regis... loved working with you again. Randi Layne from Catwalk Productions.. you are GORGEOUS!! And as soon as the official photographer, Poane, reads his emails, I hope he'll send some images. Thanks to our PR, Meg Reggie of MRPR for the opportunity...you rock!

Uche (her name is spelled a bit different than her company name) had a distinct look in mind for the flowers.. and apparantly, we nailed it!

Enjoy our photos for now...

Jessica Betel and Adam Toal August 30, 2009

Now, if you are truly following this blog, you'll notice 2 brides this past weekend, both named Jessica or Jesica... and let me tell you, it was the dickens to keep their paperwork separate!

The ceremony was slated for the Rose Garden at Atlanta Botanical Gardens, but Mother Nature decided not to cooperate.. so the ceremony was held in the Craftsman style Mershon Hall. You might guess from the photos that Jessica's favorite colors are purple and green.

Dana and her crew from Affairs To Remember did a fantastic job; the cake was from Angel Cakes and the photographer was Christine Gallagher. She had a double weekend as well.. but had a few minutes to send these images so we could post right away.. as she continues her post production, she'll send more our way! Even with the dark sky and wet Garden, the event was gorgeous and fun was had by all. Thanks Christine!!!

Jesica Koenig & Fran D'Avanza

Jesica & Fran exchanged vows this past Saturday, August 29, 2009 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Sacred Heart is one of those churches that doesn't allow a florist to decorate for a bride, what a shame, it is so pretty inside.
Anyway, Jesica and Fran own a house in historic Grant Park, right around the corner from our store. He's a University of Florida grad and Jesica's alma mater is Florida State University - they had a deal - he could fly the Gator flag until they married, now the gold & garnet of FSU is proudly flapping in the breeze!

Our great friends, Greg & Sandra Scott of Picture This! Photography were hired to capture the day and have generously provided us with images for the blog...thanks bunches G&S!!! When Jesica hired us, we sent her to Janice Blackmon of Watermark Weddings (also a Gator alumn) and it was a match! Amanda of Bold American Catering provided a fantastic spread for their guests. The historic Trolley Barn was the site of the reception and it was packed to the rafters with the guests! A gorgeous (and by all accounts, delicious) cake from Caryn's Cakes completed the decor.

Jesica chose a clean palatte of brown, green & white for her color scheme.. and as you can tell from the photos, it was a beautiful sight to behold.

Best wishes to Jesica & Fran...we'll see you around and thanks for the cocktail invite..we'll just have to take you up on that!
