Shanon Hall & Nathan Burgess 5-2-09 Part II

As I write this, Shanon and Nathan are now husband & wife. We took a few shots with our camera to tease you.. nothing fancy...Dwayne has promised to get me photos soon!

Leslie at Morningside Presbyterian Church was an absolute angel, considering we were loading in between thunderstorms..remember Shanon, it's supposed to be good luck if it rains on your wedding day!

Her reception flowers were all white, as promised.. and really should make them jump for joy when they arrive for the reception. Thanks to the staff at Ansley Golf Club for your assistance.

Wedding of a friend

Our dear friend, Robert Blondeau, son of Betty Blondeau Russell, retired Director of Development with the Alliance Theatre and currently, DoD for Kenny Leon's Tru Colors Theatre - dropped back into our lives last year.. announcing he was finally marrying. We've known Robert for over 15 years... he used to drive for Flowers From Holland, LTD (Greg was Design Manager & Larry was Retail Manager)... not to mention we've worked with Betty at least that long. His lovely bride was Kirsten Nantz - what a sweetheart! The Wimbish House was the setting for the ceremony & reception.. Yeakle Photography (thanks Mike) provided us some photos and we like to share. You can tell from house decor it was during the holiday season, but the photos will attest to great planning for detail - you don't have to fight holiday decor...draw attention where you want - bold color choices will do the trick every single time.

Andrea Miles & TC Roepke March 28, 2009

Saturday March 28, 2009, Andrea Miles & TC Roepke were married at Villa Christina. For those of you readers not in the metro Atlanta area, we had a near biblical epic amount of rain that weekend.. almost 8 inches in places! Fortunately for TC & Andrea, the bride before there event also wanted to have the ceremony out of doors, so they had a tent installed over the cereomony area and had the sidewalk covered. Andrea's dress was bright white and elegant... her bouquet was composted of white French tulips, elegantly wrapped with white satin ribbon and pearl pins. The bridesmaids carried white Dutch tulips & 'Green Tea' roses.. classic yet contemporary. Her flower girl (Luna) was adorable in her white dress and she had her basket of petals... while the Ringbearer carried a pomander of white roses; the rings were actually tied ino the ribbon. Ceremony flowers were very tailored - two 42" tall cylinders with 'invase' design of white French callas and 'Green Goddess' callas... GORGEOUS! These were later repurposed for decor on the bar. The crew at Event Drapery placed a beautiful drapery screen for the ceremony. Once you see the photos, you will agree how nice the little touches are for such events.

Their reception was in the restaurant.. Andrea & TC wanted something elegant, easy and yet contemporary in their florals. She really loved white as her focal color and calla lilies are one of her favorite flowers, so we were able to come up with a seating plant incorporating 'Estate Style' seating for maximum impact and guest interaction. In order to make the white flowers & candlelight really POP... TC chose the Gunmetal Bengaline linens from BBJ Linens (Thanks Dee Lane)- one of their new colors... we've always believed for all white flowers to show best in photography, a strong neutral is the best choice for linens! The votive candles provided perfect warm ambience!

Katy and Alyssa of Sashay Events were the planners (Alyssa & Andrea are very close friends) and Patrick from Picture This! Photography was on hand to capture all of the special moments.

Best wishes to Mr & Mrs TC Roepke!!
