Ashley & Michael - F&I photos

What a great day... Ashley was so excited.. her ceremony was held Saturday, April 10, at Central Presbyterian Church downtown.  She is the 4th generation bride to marry there.. her grandfather conducted the ceremony.  Pre-ceremony photography had her crossing the street and posing under an archway at the Georgia State Capital Building... another Crosland tradition... 3rd or 4th generation with same pose & location!   Don't you just love it when there is a story within the story??  We do!

Ashley's bouquet was comprised of deep purple Lisianthus, Sweet peas, purple & green hellebores, Dutch Lilac, Dutch Peony tulips, 'Amnesia' rose, 'Ocean Spray' rose, Baby Green Hydrangea, Mokara orchids, immature Snowball Viburnum, miniature calla 'Sugar Plum' and deep purple freesia.... gorgeous!

The bridesmaids carried a coordinating bouquet of softer shades of purple and lavender (dresses were deep plum/fig).  Flowers such as 'Amnesia' rose, Mokara orchids, lavender Sweet Peas (Holland), lavender Dutch peony Tulips, white miniature callas, lavender freesia, 'Little Silver' spray rose, Baby Green Hydrangea, green Hellebores, wrapped with lavender ribbon.  Divine!

Cake by Mark Lotti's Classic Cheesecakes & Cakes... linens by BBJ Linen (this is a new overlay, Silver Cracked Ice.. over a lilac lamour and it features our signature 'floral' plateau...all fresh flowers!
This arrangement was on the terrace...Bold American Catering later put their cheese display on the table.

Their centerpieces were high and low... here's my photo... not bad, but I'm no professional...just wanted to share as quickly as possible...
Once our photos from the professional arrive, we'll share..

Rehearsal Dinner at the Peachtree Club

Wow... the renovation at the Peachtree Club downtown is done.. and they've done a wonderful job!!  Wendy showed us around..thanks.. and the new terrace..incredible view of Atlanta..all the way to Kennesaw Mountain and Stone Mountain..especially on a day like today.. no real smog or haze, thanks to the breeze.  I'll post a video next!

As promised, here are the photos of the dinner setup - Apple Green Bengaline linens from BBJ Linen.  Michael's mother wanted classic green & white but not 'overdone'.  I don't think one more thing could have fit on those tables!!   Enjoy... photos from the wedding & reception over the weekend.

Congrats to you Ashley & Michael!!!  See you Saturday!

High Museum Wine Dinners 2010

We were privileged to provide decor for one of our clients who were a host for one of the premier Wine Tasting Dinner parties, in conjunction with the High Museum of Art Annual Wine Auction.  Guests were invited to their Buckhead home for an evening of great food and wine.  Photography is provided by the gracious Kristi Odom; cuisine by La Tavola; Linens BBJ Linen; tables, chairs, plates, chargers, stemware and cutlery from We Rent Atlanta and florals by Foxgloves & Ivy Floral Design Studio.  Our client was gracious and gave us full reign on planning decor - as long as it reflected their love of Venice, Italy.  One of their exquisite paintings in the living room was the inspiration.  Thank you again to all involved... including one of our former brides, Jennifer Federovitch Maley of the High Museum for guidance.

Apologies

Sorry folks for the lack of updates.. there have been a few challenges in our business- the unexpected death of an employee during our busiest season and yours truly has been out with an unplanned illness... basically, the non-permanent form of Vertigo... was out of work for a 2 full weeks and having a bit of a rough go this week.  By no means does this not mean we are busy..contraire!!  Greg has done a wonderful job keeping the business running smoothly...most of our event clients had no idea I was out.  I've got a few weeks of recovery to go, but there are major changes on the horizon...not to mention more events to share.
