Atlanta Survives the Snowstorm!

Sounds funny, doesn't it. The ATL... snow... March?? Yes, it happened, but all is well down in the capitol of the South. With an expected high today of 43°, most of the snow is melting, but that wind is a BEAR! So glad the temperatures are warming up for the weekend. We have a wedding & reception on Saturday.. an intimate affair for 80 guests.. Carol White & Greg Mohler will exchange vows at The Solarium in Decatur... they should be glad of the expected 70°... talk about timing. The caterers are Bada Bing!, also from Decatur and the photographer is Rae Jenn Photography.

Great Lunch

Greg & I had a meeting today with Alison Lueker, Executive Chef and owner of Sun In My Belly Cafe... talking about increasing wedding & reception business. Lunch was at JTC in the Howell Mill Road district... food was delicious and service impeccable. Great job.. Greg had the fried chicken plate (Springer Farms), Alison had the Cracker Jack salad and I had the Fried Egg Hamburger. Greg & Alison split the 'doughnut' dessert, but I insisted I would not partake as I have given up sweets for Lent. They sure did look good though!

The meeting was great... a lot of you wedding industry folks will be getting an invitation to a luncheon at the Sun In My Belly (SIMB) cafe in Decatur... so keep your eyes pealed for the invite!

Time to call it a day.... attending a 'bon voyage' swa-re for one of 'our kids', a young man heading to NYC to attend American Culinary Institute.. when he was a young highschooler, he'd work in the shop.. we've watched him grow up... wishing him the best of luck....bye Hunter and make us proud.

Yes, we're blogging in two places now

Although we have a blog imbedded on our main website, we wanted to have anothe output for the wedding part of our business...occasionally we'll through out other information as well. Sometimes there will be daily posts, sometimes weekly... we'll also use this venue to show photographs of our work.

There will be polls, especially in this economy, we really want to know what you, our current or potential client are thinking.. anything we can do better, please let us know.

With that said, I've still got some more editing to complete to get this thing like we want it... so hang in there with us and we'll be back soon!
